FASHION GIVES OFF A MESSAGE So keep that in mind when you do something different do it sparingly. I mean it is a good idea… even a great idea. But fashion IS the language of communication. So make sure what you are saying is tasteful. What does that mean? Maybe your grandma’s brooch? Or a garter? Or a bit of hair décor? There is nothing like a touch of hair décor to pick up an outfit for a good price.
Fashion is how we speak to the world, how we express ourselves. It is a message we put out to the world – class mates, neighbors, work colleagues. And with that thought… I am a firm believer that fashion should be a source of entertainment. My blog is a lot of about having fun with fashion and not taking yourself too seriously.
Touches of fun and frivolity is the way it should be with clothes. For example… you have a pair of jeans. Right? You’re going out and want to look smashing. Right? But money is scarce. Right?
Here’s a thought. You can always buy something “fabulous darling” for your hair. Find yourself a good thrift shop, especially one that specializes in vintage. OK. Got your store picked out.
